Christmas Glow
It is that time of year again,
As seasons come and go,
That special, beautiful, magic time
That time of Christmas glow.
So much to do to be ready in time,
Shopping and hiding away gifts,
Planning meals and celebrations,
It gives our spirits a lift.
The rustle of paper and the cooking smells,
The warmth of family meetings,
The twinkling lights and the fireside glow
Those special cards and greetings.
The Christmas season is a special one
Better than any I know,
It leaves my heart warm and calm
Filled with a Christmas Glow.
